He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rainey and Florence Rainey (Ford); and his wife Catherine A. Prusinski. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Cross of Iron Mountain, MI, David Cross (Brenda Ortiz) of Elmwood Park, IL, Michael Cross of Fayetteville, TN and William Cross of Fayetteville, TN; his stepsons, Paul Prusinski of Oshkosh, WI and Stanley Prusinski of Marshfield, WI; and his siblings, Edward Rainey of Bessemer, AL, Howard "Woody" Rainey of Bessemer, AL and Pamela Pagan (Alberto) of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren.
