Earll of Loyal; his children, Rhonda Lynes (Robert) of Wausau, Mona Bertz of Daytona Beach, FL, Ranee Bertz (Joe Schultz) of Chili, Shawn Bertz of Loyal and Rolanda Bertz of Lakeland, FL; and his stepgrandson Jonathon Schultz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“To all of the Bertz family... I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and dad. Jack had a huge personality, and as Rhonda's roommate, he certainly made a huge impression when I first met him. The one thing I remember most is his laugh. He loved to laugh and make others laugh, sometimes at your expense. But you always knew it was all in fun!
