She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Whittemore and Joyce Whittemore-Rossow (Cherney); her stepfather Glen Rossow; her husband Robert Brown of Abbotsford, WI; her former husband Jerry Davel of Loyal; her siblings, Gilbert Whittemore II, Charles Whittemore, Pauline Morick and Melody Clark; her granddaughter Tennille Thomas (Davel); her nephews, Steven Whittemore and Bob Clark; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Thomas and Robert Cole Kaczor.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Davel (Heidi) of Willard, Marie Davel of Marshfield, Debra Langreck (Chris) of Marshfield, Larry Davel of Neillsville, Tami Cook (Randy) of Loyal, Shirley Goode of Willard and Lisa Payne (Al) of Loyal; her brother Robert Whittemore (Sharon) of Orange, CA; and her stepchildren, Susan Brown, Peter Brown, Paul Brown and Bobbie Jo Suckow (Brad). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given in Nancy's name to the activity department at the Three Oaks Health Center.
