He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tilkens and Doris Tilkens (Thyes); and his in-laws, Gordon and June Prahl. He is survived by: his wife Karen Tilkens; his sisters, Ann Basten, Mary Polcin (Tom), Judy Prahl (Brian) and Lori Tilkens; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Prahl (Lori) and Diane Derenne (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Tom's name.
