He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cletus, Anita Gruber, Robert and Bernelda Nordness; and his aunt Linda Gruber Mulhern.

He is survived by: his parents, Michael Nordness and Kathleen Nordness (Gruber); his brothers, Jeff Ripp and Andrew Nordness; his nephew Roberto Ripp; his aunts and uncles, James Gruber, Scott Mueller (Linda Watson), Deborah Gruber (Christopher Sneed) and Wendy Stoker (Jerry); his cousins, Scott Stoker (Jessica), Matt Stoker, Adam Mueller (Brittany) and Sarah Reynolds (Karl); Zuri, London, Sophia, Harper and Nash.
