He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Zerbel and Doretta Zerbel (Holzwarth); his former wife Mary Bischoff; his wife Thelma Bender; and his siblings, Dorothy Heidner, Maxine Hermanson, Roland Zerbel and Harold Zerbel.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Zerbel (Marie), Gordon Zerbel (Vicki) and Marjorie Lindow (Tom); his grandchildren, Katie Wynne (Jackson), Emily Zerbel (Mike Uthe) and David Lindow (Katherine); his great grandchildren, Jackie, Morgan Wynne and Price Lindow; his sister-in-law Ann Zerbel; his stepsons, Gary Bender (Dawn) and Bruce Bender; and his stepgrandchildren, LeAnna, Allison, Astrid, Neil and Theo. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
