He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Humphrey and Flora Humphrey (Helms); his brothers, Wilfred Humphrey and Owen Humphrey; his grandson Mark Morley; and his great grandchildren, Brock and Alivia Jelen.
He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Olsen; his children, Janet Reuter (Terry), Dawn Jelen (Jeff), Shirley Hanson (Mark) and Mark Humphrey; his grandchildren, Amanda Peterson (Kevin), Ryan Sheppard (Annie Sullivan), Ian Reuter, Stephanie Reuter (Ben Wilcox), Jeffery Jr. Jelen (Bobbi Jo), Justin Jelen (Amanda), Jennifer Arndt (Josh), Mitch Hanson, Noah Hanson, Natalie Hanson and Brooke Clendenning (Braydon); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Callie Sheppard, Henry Jelen, Aloise, Hudson Arndt, Emalee Monroe and Jaxon Jelen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps.
