He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bruno and Anne Bruno (Stassi); his aunt Mary (Stassi); and his uncle Harold Borenz. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carberry; his sons, Joseph, Thomas and Brian (Jenny); his grandchildren, Jack, Ben and Sophia; and his siblings, Joanne Dibelius (Cliff) and J. Michael Bruno (Jim Smith). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agrace Hospice and the Italian Workmen's Club Scholarship Fund.
