He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Mielke and Iola Mielke (Sturm); his wife Jean Mielke; his parents-in-law, James and Bonnie Doyle; his sisters, Bonnie VanSweden and Gwen Mathis; and his granddaughter Christina Mielke.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Radewan (Dave), Ken Mielke (Mary), Ed Mielke (Kathy), Gari-Lynn Mielke (Curtis Kee), Bob Mielke (Mary) and Sue Freye (Steve); his grandchildren, Cameron Radewan (Kay), Katrina Williams (Chris), Cassandra Koch (Adam), Josh, Jeremy, Jessica Mielke, Curtis Kee Jr., Samantha Mielke, Ashr McSherry, Tyler Freye (Jayme) and Travis Freye (Liz); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Riley Radewan, Ethan, Evan Williams, Daxton, Deacon, Dillon Koch, Aziah, Charley, Micah Webster, Diego, Dominic, Nevaeh Hernandez-Mielke, Camryn Tierney, Shelby, Jordan Kelly, Cattleya Rae, Silvia Marie Lemieux-Kee, Breleigh, McKenna, Ryleigh and Hadley Freye; his sister Midge Flynn (Punky); and his brother-in-law Tom VanSweden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (5001 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
