He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Russell and Virginia Russell (Van Gorden); his brother Tom Russell; and his nephew Alan Zawadzki. He is survived by: his sister Debra; his brother-in-law George Walton; and his nieces and nephews, Terry Van Stee (Lucinda), Devon, Dylan Matyshak, Antonio Zawadzki, Amyia Zawadzki, Felicia Zawadzki and Virginia Bruning (Edgard).
