He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Lars F. Gulbrandsen and Lucille Gulbrandsen (Vig); his sister Mary (Larsen); his wife Mary (Wachter); his children, Lars (Kara Eigenberger), Ellen Jalkut (Michael) and Erik (Emily Talbot); and his grandchildren, Zoe, Hannah, Benjamin, Charles, Bodie, Hazel and Grady. He was also cherished by extended family members and many friends.

A memorial tribute and luncheon will follow at the Discovery Building at noon. Memorials can be made to the Morgridge Institute for Research, Access Community Health Center, Luther Memorial Church, or a charity of your choice.
