We announce the death of Carol A. Meier of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Ramona, Kansas, who passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 85. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carol will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Carol’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her significant other Etas Carria; her pet Luci Liu; her sister Phyllis Brunner; her nieces and nephews, Dianna Whittmore, Michelle Sumaruk (Michael), Donald Arnold, Jamie Brunner and Joey Brunner; and her friend Lynn Laufenburg.
