She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Donald M. Britton and Louise Britton; her sister Bea Eckert; and her son-in-law David Maynard. She is survived by: her wife Sara Roberts; her children, Laura Maynard, Gail Carlson, Andy Carlson, Ann Cary and Lynn Sedivy; her son-in-law Philip Nyhus; her grandchildren, Louisa, Soren Nyhus, Ethan Carlson, Nicole, Donovan Maynard, Anna, Oliver Sedivy, Evan and Clover Cary; and her nieces, Suzanne Rasmussen and Diana Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ (1501 Gilbert Rd, Madison, WI 53711). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ and Blood Cancer United (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).
