We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2022, at the age of 79, Charles Henry Howting (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Charlotte Alger Howting; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Libby; his children, Joe Schindlbeck (Jennifer), Melissa Kansa (Ken) and Laura Geislinger (Dan); his grandchildren, Stacy (Jessie), Stephen (Desiree), Michael Schindlbeck, Caroline, Austin Kansa, Ben and Charlie Geislinger; his great grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Olivia Juskevice, Evelyn, Logan and Tristan Schindlbeck; his siblings, Bob Howting (Marsha) of Naperville, Ill. and Carolyn Douglass (Vann) of Alma; and his sister-in-law Cathi Mundsinger (Wayne) of Oswego, Ill.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
