He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Sabean; his sister Frances Kirkpatrick; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Najem and Clark Sholts (Noreen); his nephew Doug Sholts (Pearl); and his nieces, Karen Paul (Rick) and Kathy Jacobus (Steve Patchak). He is also survived by five grand-nieces and nephews; one great grand-niece and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lakeview Lutheran Church.
