He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emma Lee Turner Suggs and Oscar Lee Anderson; his wife Karen Laverne Suggs; his children, Toria Suggs, Ronnell (Junnie), Charneese (Phillip), Benitha, Charles Jr., Myron Sr., Oscar (Elane), Sylvia, Tiffany and Kareem (Amanda); his brother Troy; his aunt Vannie; and his sister-in-law Ann. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
