With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chester B. Thomas (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Oakland, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his son Ross (Sarah); his grandchildren, Kolby, McKade, Calton, Catherine (Nick) and Veronica; his sibling's children, Marci Gomez (Dave), Jennifer Moore and Mark Guyer; and his brother-in-law Jack Moore.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cress Funeral and Cremation Services (3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI 53705).
The family requests no flowers. Gifts in Chet's memory may be made to the Chester Thomas Food Animal Veterinary Medical Scholars Program Fund at the UW-Madison Foundation, the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo WI, or Agrace Hospice Care.
