Christine Cookson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Cookson of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sarabelle Morrison and Dr. Phillips Morrison; her husband Dr. David Cookson; her children, David Cookson (Lynn), Daniel Cookson (Holly), Sondra McLinn (Eugene) and Matthew Cookson (Gail); and her siblings, Phil Morrison, Gale Glenn, Brooke Megrue, Scott Morrison, Lynne Jensen, Debbie Corliss, Kim Morrison and Sondi Bostic. She was also cherished by grandchildren; and a growing number of great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Madison Reading Project, or the Agrace Foundation.
