It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cornelius James Mayer formerly of Madison, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Henry Mayer and Harriet Mayer (Frey); his wife Betty Harms; and his grandchildren, Kristi Stockley and Shawn Mayer.
He is survived by: his brother Roger Mayer; his children, Susan Mayer of Madison and Fred Mayer (Patricia) of Scottsdale, AZ.; his grandsons, Ryan Mayer (Jen) and Eric Mayer (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Kyle and Logan Mayer.
