With sadness, we share the passing of Daniel Bier (Madison, Wisconsin). Daniel, born on January 28, 1948 in Janesville, Wisconsin, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Daniel for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He is survived by: his wife Ann Knapstein; his daughter Kaitlin (Jay Plasman); his grandsons, Wesley and Adler; and his siblings, Shirley Divita of Crystal Lake, IL, Richard Bier (Gloria) of Bloomington, IN, Thomas Bier (Katherine) of Madison and Michael Bier (Cindy) of Janesville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (401 S Owen Dr, Madison, WI 53711). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
