He is survived by: his children, Kristi Murphy (Michaeljon), Kelly Zernov (Brad) and Jon Rogers; his grandchildren, Eric, Hristiyan (Gabriella), Jason (Lara), Rachel Murphy, Kate (Brian), Lauren Pino (Douglas) and Linnea Zernov; and his great grandchildren, Niko and Luka Gunderson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care - Madison (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
