He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Spurlin and Amy Spurlin (McGuiness); his brother Robert Spurlin (June); and his niece Heather Spurlin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Spurlin; his children, Kimberly Blum (Cory) and Mathew Spurlin; his grandchildren, Owen, Weston, Sadie and Everly; his stepchildren, Christopher Wilbur (Katie) and Stephanie Reynolds (Drew); his grandchildren, Sophia, Annabelle, Joanna, Eleanor, Kyle, Ben and Eli; and his brother Ronald Spurlin (Arlys). He is also survived by several nephews/nieces, cousins, along with many lifelong friends.
