He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick and Nettie Isabel Schuette; and his siblings, William M. Schuette, Walter E. Schuette, Elizabeth M. Carlson and Virginia E. Schweich.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Louise; his daughters, Claudia Rohr and Dawn Schuette-McKinnon (Michael McKinnon); his son-in-law Stuart Pippel; his grandchildren, Margaret Boodle (Aaron), Ross Schuette, Hilary Rohr and Holly McKinnon; his sister-in-law Joyce Swanson; and his brother Don.
