It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Robert Wallace of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Wallace and Lucille Wallace (Ludwig); his wife Nancy Zimmerman; his children, Karen Bohon (Scott), Russell Wallace and Michael Wallace (Donna); his grandchildren, Johanna Altenberger (Mike), Tyler Marotz (Megan), Kennedy Wallace, Carson Wallace, Landon Wallace, Rachel Wallace, Stephanie Wallace and Kyle Wallace; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Altenberger, Madelyn Altenberger, Kinsley Marotz and Logan Marotz; his aunt Irene (Jay Hanley); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence, Lucille Zimmerman, LuAnn Thorson, Richard and Peter Zimmerman.
Don's family would like to thank the Care Teams at Hyland Park and Hyland Crossings for the wonderful care they provided for Don as his Alzheimer's progressed. You all are truly Angels to take care of people with Alzheimer's.
