She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Thorpe and Dorothy Thorpe (Miller); her parents-in-law, Leon and Linda Elmer; her brother Paul Thorpe; her brothers-in-law, Leon Elmer Jr., Gary Wischnewski and Roy Aagard; her niece Wendy Elmer; her nephew Mike Elmer; and her pet Felix.

She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Elmer; her children, Carrie Elmer (Paul Ledin), Sherri Elmer and Andrew Elmer (Jennifer Hight); her grandchildren, Sydney Elmer (Barron Carns), Taylor Beckett, Rylee Elmer and Sawyer Elmer; her sisters, Kerry Sheridan (Steve), Jo Wischnewski and Robin Fink (Terry); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Elmer and LaVon Aagard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
