She was predeceased by: her father Henry Niesen; her husband Edward Cecil Hassett; her siblings, Isabelle Kalscheur-Frost, Mary Ann Schwartz, Mildred Donis, Lydia Pertzborn, Theresa Miller, Rose Heller, John Niesen and Wilfred Niesen; and her grandson Michael Hassett.

She is survived by: her mother Louise Niesen (Endres); her children, Steven, Robert (Joli), Edward Jr. (Lynn) and Debra Coccia (Ralph); her grandchildren, Thomas Hassett, Ryan Coccia and Alex Coccia; and her stepchildren, Renee Metcalf (Dick), Tim Brockmann (Diane Wagner) and Michael Brockmann (Chris). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Maria Goretti or Agrace HospiceCare would be appreciated by the family.
