We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2026, at the age of 70, Douglas Jude Bar in Madison, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bar and Marilyn Bar; his former wife Ruth Bar; and his sister Anita Kenski. He is survived by: his fiancée Julie Nygaard; his children, Kristin Willcutt (Charles) and Brian Bar (Jess Hopp); his grandsons, Henry and Franklin Willcutt; his siblings, Terrance Bar (Michele), Richard Bar (Robin) and Mary Anne Bar; Anja Nygaard (Margot Manzer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (310 E Washington St, Stoughton, WI 53589). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:20 PM to 12:40 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
