He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Pollard and Anita Pollard (Kranz); his brother Richard; and his pets, Bailey, Zane and Xena.
He is survived by: his pet Percy; his son Taylor Sanford (S. Air Force); his close friend Kathleen "Kathy" Wopat; his siblings, Jeff Pollard, San Diego, Calif, Lori Pollard of Green Bay and Mark Pollard of Van Dyne, Wis.; his nephew Jake Pollard; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Bingham (Lisa), Lindsay Bingham (Iman), Lauren Dillman and Jameson Dillman; his grandchildren, Louella, Illiana, Alex and Leah; his close friend Lisa Deegan (Mike); his pets, Zeus, Ziva and Zuko; Lisa Sanford Schmid (Ray). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grandpa Bear's Grandchildren's Fund, C/O Summit Credit Union, to establish education funds for Grandpa Bear's grandchildren or to the German Shepherd Rescue Alliance of Wisconsin (GSRAW).
