He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Stacy (Rick Lenz), Doug Kerr (Bari), Mark and Jeff; his parents, Roxie Kerr and Raymond Kerr; Malinda and Lesa. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Ed fought a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, facing it with strength and grace. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Initiative to End Alzheimer's at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Ed's name.
