Elaine Arakaki Obituary

We announce the death of Elaine Arakaki (Madison, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 84. Elaine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty U Higa and Fred M Higa; and her siblings, Joy Murashige and Yeishin. She is survived by: her daughter Amber Kim-Caldeira (Mark); her grandson Samuel; her son Alan Kim Jr. (Susan); her grandchildren, Kamei Kim (Matthew Thall), Abigail and Daniel; her son Adam Kim (Theresa); her grandchildren, Kaimi, Alex and Damian; her daughter April Oshiro (Jeffrey); her grandsons, Zachary and Zane; her brother Fred M Higa Jr. (Elaine); her nieces, Jennifer and Valerie; her nephew Vance; her sister Elva Furuya (Warren); her nibling Lauren; her sister Lynn Ikehara (Ken); her niece Kristen Murashige; Calvin.
