While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
Elaine was an active and faithful member of her church, where she found joy in serving meals to the homeless; she was a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital, donating many of her knitting projects to them; and was very involved in Girl Scouts.
