Eldon H. Newcomb Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon H. Newcomb of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Norman Newcomb (Fay) and Betty Jo Rollins (Boyd); and his daughter Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Joyce R. Newcomb; his children, N. Robert Newcomb (Maria Taveras) and Cynthia Newcomb; his grandchildren, Christine Newcomb (Andrew Albee) and Charles Newcomb (Renée); and his great grandchildren, Octavia Albee and Jack Newcomb.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eldon and Joy Newcomb Research Support Grant at the University of Wisconsin Botany Department.
