We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 94, Elfrieda Louise Strand (Madison, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Gunderson and Anna Gunderson (Vogt); her husband Harry Strand; her daughter Linda Bethel; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Strand; her siblings, Riley Gunderson, Lenore Schultz, Farol Lunda and Lucile Siebert; and her nephew Gregory Ophime.

She is survived by: her children, Sandy Allsage (Terry) and Randy Strand; her grandchildren, Valerie Becker (John), Coy Bethel (Jenny), Luke Allsage (Janelle), Crystal Koch (Rob), Jared Allsage, Connor Allsage and Ashley Strand; her great grandchildren, Bronte, Zoe Bethel and Emersyn Allsage; and her siblings, Lois Ophime and Wayne Gunderson (Gert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or an organization of your choice.
