He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Stautz and Elsa Stautz (Bruessel); his brothers, Jerome Stautz (Alice) and Clayton Stautz (Aletta); and his sister-in-law Janet Lull (Hallock).
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hallock; his children, Jeffrey (Jane) of Indianapolis, Curt (Caren) of Castle Rock, Colorado and Susan of Madison, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Amy McQuaid (Stephen), Andrew Stautz (Shannon), Alan Stautz, Diane Murphy (Matt), Matthew Stautz (Melissa) and Stephanie Stoner (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Leah, Nora Murphy, Evelyn, Lillian McQuaid, Ryder, Rowan Stautz and Cora Stautz.
