She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bongard and Rose Bongard (Endres); her in-laws, Lawrence and Rosa Thompson; her children, Mary Ellen and Mark; her grandson Michael Brink; her siblings, Victor, Eugene, Charles, Joseph, Clarice Hug, Mary Jo Pape and Karen Breunig; and her sister-in-law Liz Bongard.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Brink (Steve) of Hazel Green, Jackie Thompson of Portsmouth, N. H. and Larry Thompson; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hoeper (Kevin), Dan Brink (Erika), Jenny Bernhardt (Gabe), Jessica Miller (Tim), Alison Wiegman (Chris), Emily Unger (Matt LaPine) and Hannah Mitchell (Max); her brother Bud Bongard (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Bongard and Leon Breunig. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Madison (3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI 53705).
