He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard James Kane and Leone Beatrice Kane (Miles); his brother-in-law Robert McKoy; his sister Mary Alice McKoy; and his nephew Dr. Bernard "Bud" Kane.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta L. Hutzel (Scouting); his children, Robert B. Maass-Kane (Regina) of Windsor, Kristopher L. Kane (Terra) of McFarland and Heather L. Kane-Terhorst (Chad Terhorst) of Mukwonago; his grandchildren, Annabelle L. Kane-Terhorst, Karter L. Kane and Breccan A. Kane; and his siblings, Bernard E. Kane (Ruth) and Janet Grace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank or McFarland United Church of Christ.
