Gene Simpson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Simpson (Madison, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Simpson and Morris Simpson; and his brother Wayne Simpson (Sue). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his siblings, Joy Lederman (Don), Sue Renee Simpson and Gregg Simpson (Brenda); his daughters, Lisa Simpson (Matthew) and Sara Sieger; and his grandchildren, Ava Sieger, Rowan Sieger and Anna Coan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, special neighbors and treasured friends.
