He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Singer and Margaret Singer (Gilbert); his wife Charlene Fredrick; and his brother Robert Whitcomb. He is survived by: his children, Amy Whitcomb and Jon Whitcomb (Janalee); his grandchildren, Travis Whitcomb (Stacy), Andrea Whitcomb and Melanie Stone (Jeffrey); his great grandchildren, Evalynn, Brynn, Elise Whitcomb and Oliver Stone; and his sister Gorthea Noll (Ralph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
