Klinger and Rose Klinger (Wojciewski); his close friend Barbara Bernhardt; his former wife Betty Klinger; his daughters, Nancie Smith and Judith; his son-in-law Lawrence Olson; his grandson Dale Patrick Smith; his great grandchildren, Saige Hoeft and Jack Kovaleski; his sister Beatrice Cochems (Henry); his siblings-in-law, Virginia Hansen (Claire) and Edward Green (Nancy); and his nieces and nephews, Carol Dupont, Janet Wenger (Craig), Paul, Charles Cochems and James Green.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Green; his children, Raymond (Lynda), Linda Olson (Bob), Jeanne Kaminski (Stephen), Michael (Theresa), Donald (Margaret), Debra Kuehl (Gene), Richard (Cindy) and Mark (Aissa); his grandchildren, Stacey Smith, Hilary Hagerty, Kimberly Kuchar (Jeff), Michelle Hoeft (Brett), Matthew Kaminski (Izabela), Angela Stamm (Jeremy), Kristi Tollefson (Andy), Adrienne Klinger (Scott), Kelsey, Katelyn, Kristina Kuehl, Stephen Klinger, Brooke Nettum, Tamara Thies and Marissa Tokarczyk (Ben); his great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Keegan Kovaleski, Zachary, Ashley Hagerty, Kasey, Alyssa, Kody Kuchar, Natalie, Evan Hoeft, Alayna Stamm, Chayzen Tollefson, Cohen, Brennan and Chesney McKail; his son-in-law Dale Smith; his niece Beverly Lewis; his nephews, David (Donna), Ronald (Gale), Kenneth Cochems and Robert Green (Elisabeth); and his niece-in-law Denise Green. He is also survived by nine children and were blessed with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
During his tenure, Harry implemented Affirmative Action initiatives and gained admiration for his impeccable work ethic and contributions to the department, including the creation of the official emblem still in use today.
