She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pfister Sr. and Elizabeth Pfister (Lischeron); her husband Edward A. Marking Sr.; her siblings, William II Pfister (Ruth), Betty Rose Pfister, Rosetta (Rose), Lester Gammeter Sr. and Ed's; her siblings-in-law, Jerome Marking, Jeannette Annen (Werner) and Rita Kelly Sr. (William); Martin and Margaret Marking (Koch).
She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Gin" Marking, Madison, Martha Marking (Michael Slaughter) of Boone, N. C., Yvonne Dahl (Gary Barman), Monona, Michelle Marking Disch (Mark Disch), Karen Kipp (Steve), Nancy Thornsen (Larry "Bo"), Edward A. Marking Jr. (Joanne), Joanne Silver (Larry) and Fitchburg; and her grandchildren, Howard Dahl, Matthew Dahl, Jacob Dahl, Kaitlyn Dahl (Rudy Campos), Taylor Disch, Paige Disch, Kari Kipp (Tyler Trickle), Candace Kipp, Michael Thornsen, Natalie Marking, Logan Marking, Eli Marking, Alexander Silver, Redd Silver, McKenna Silver and Manny Toal (Monona). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
