He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton "Toad" and Kate Adams of Defiance, OH.. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim (Angie) and Sheree (Jim); his wife Sandy; his grandchildren, Justin (Emily), Joshua (Kelly) and Heather (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Hadley, Levi and Jacob.

“Sandy and family, I am so sorry to hear that Jim passed away. With covid the last two years, its has been hard to keep in touch with Flad friends. Jim will always be one of my very special friend! Mentoring me from the day I started at Flad till the day I retired. I can not even count all the projects we worked on and traveled together thru the years. He was for me and all of the Flad staff in all our offices the guy that was the "code" man! Love to all of you, Kathy McCue”
