He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Frank and Evelyn Frank (Vance); and his siblings, Kathy, Jeff and John.

He is survived by: his daughters, Leandra and Veronica; his sister Karen Dowling (Frank); and his close friend Scott Broadbent.

He loved astronomy, donating one of his larger telescopes to Ridgeway High School.
