She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hermes and Jane Crossman. She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Chatmas (Stephanie) of Shakopee, MN and Emily Danger (Nick) of Longmont, CO; her brother Freddy Hermes (Nancy); her stepmother Veryl Hermes; and her cousin Colleen Levake. She is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County, a cause close to Jan's heart.
