Janet Mary Haasl Obituary
We announce the death of Janet Mary Haasl of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 78. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Harter and Celia Harter (Hartle); and her sister Judy Folz. She is survived by: her husband Donald Haasl; her children, Michael Haasl, Christine Virnig (William) and Angela Vreeland (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha Virnig, Hazel and Miles Vreeland; and her brothers, Roger Harter (Midge) and Ken Harter (Terri). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (2121 Rowley Ave, Madison, WI 53726).
