Janet Roberta Lindsey Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 17, 2025, at the age of 88, Janet Roberta Lindsey (Madison, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Janet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Lindsey (Glover) and Dewey Lindsey; her husband Robert; and her sister Carolyn Bush (Norman). She is survived by: her brother David Lindsey (Mary) of Melbourne, Fla.; her niece Barbara McKain (Lyle); and her nephew Curtis Bush (Sharyl). She is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to any Native American charity.
