She was predeceased by: her parents, Czechoslovakian Febish (John Semanek) and Mary Febish; her husband Dr. William Louis Schemmel; and her sons, Peter and Stephen.

She is survived by: her children, Susan, Scott (Kim), John, James (Susan), Judd (Lisa), Matthew, Mark (Jennifer Harrington) and Luke (Jonathan). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

The family asks that anyone interested, in lieu of flowers, make donations to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish.
