She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter A. Hamacher Jr. and Frances "Dutch" Hamacher (Aylward); her husband David W. McCann of Patrick's Catholic Church; her brother Aylward P. Hamacher; her brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Meyers; her nephew Richard "Richie" Meyers; and her close friend Mary Alice Frey.
She is survived by: her children, Shane McCann (Kim) of Madison and Theresa McCann-Page (Rick) of Madison; her grandchildren, Shannon Ingalls (Christian), Heather Cowell (Ralph), Lucas McCann, Justine Page, Kyleigh Powers (Matthew) and Maycie Page; and her siblings, Nena Meyers of Troy, Mich. and Richard Hamacher of Janesville, Wis.. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Dennis Church (505 Dempsey Rd, Madison, WI 53716). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
