Jerome F. Wallander Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome F. Wallander of Madison, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Wallander and Margaret Wallander; his siblings, Mary Joan Haefke (Al), Bill Wallander, Jim Wallander, Jeanne Shimek (Hank), Jack Wallander, Judy Jacobs, Charles Wallander and Rick Wallander; and his brother-in-law Mark Vanderheiden.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Wallander; his children, Gregg (Cindy Wallander) of Indianapolis, Lynne (Ian Radomski) of Chicago and Lesley (Thomas Burkard) of Hartland, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Jena Gemkow (Ben), Mary Schaller (Lucas), Erin Ureel (Daniel), Sara Wallander, Evan, Lauren, Hayden Radomski, Nolan, Emma and Ethan Burkard; his great grandchild Jack Jerome Schaller; his sister Margaret; his siblings-in-law, Jane Wallander, Lou Wallander and John Jacobs; his sister RaeAnn; and his brother-in-law John Duff.
