With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Smith of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Fitzsimmons and Thelma Fitzsimmons (Ness); and her husband Robert J. Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth A. Smith, Kurt E. Smith (Deanna) and Kevin R. Smith (Dawn); her grandchildren, Craig Smith (Aleah), Amanda Verhage (Zach), Carly (Zach) and Sam Smith; and her great grandchildren, Vayda and Macklin Verhage.
