He is survived by: his wife Linda Maassen (Kelly); his children, Nick and Megan; his children-in-law, Summer and Adam; and his granddaughter Rori. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Remembrance gifts in Joe's name may be made to Ridgewood Community Pool in Madison, Wisconsin, through the Ed Nebbins Foundation, and to the Washburn, Wisconsin Community Center - "The Club" - through the Historic Civic Center Foundation.
